About Julie Shinabery

I'm a professional real estate and builder photographer, and have photographed thousands of properties in and around the Charlotte, NC region. After 10 years of corporate experience in real estate marketing and communications, I started my freelance business in 2009 and haven't looked back. In addition to photography, I provide drone photography, videography, 360 tours, graphic design and professional photo editing for commercial and residential properties and spaces.

Family

The most important aspect of my life is my family - especially my intelligent, kind and beautiful daughters. It's an honor to be their mother, and they have given me a great purpose in life.

I also have a rescue dog, which I jokingly (?) refer to as my third child.

Roots

Originally from rural Michigan, I graduated from college in Indiana, and lived in Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA before settling in Charlotte, NC in 2002.

Personal

I never stop being a photographer. Having a camera in hand is the most natural thing in the world to me.

I love to take pictures of everything from my daughters' school events to beautiful places around the US and the world.

My dream is to 1. travel more with family, and 2. start a personal project featuring photos of life in rural Michigan.
